How to write an FAQ page that actually helps

Most FAQ pages are written at random - imagined questions, not ones that actually arrived. Here's a simpler way to make sure it's genuinely useful.

1. Start from your real customer messages, not guesswork

Go back through the last 20-30 messages you actually received, and pull out the recurring questions. That's a far more accurate source than any guess.

2. Order by importance, not randomly

Put the most frequent and important questions (price, delivery, hours) first, not buried at the end among minor details.

3. Answer in one clear sentence, not a long paragraph

A customer wants a quick answer, not an article. Answer directly and clearly, and let them reach out for more detail if they need it.

4. Update it regularly

If your prices or policy change and you forget to update the FAQ, you're now giving wrong information instead of helping - review it every month or two.

The same information you gather for this page is exactly what a chatbot like OPENCHATBOT needs to reply directly and automatically to every customer.
