An FAQ page alone: why it falls short

An FAQ page is a useful tool and every site should have one - but it has one core gap it can't close on its own.

The gap: the customer has a question that's not on the list

No matter how long your list is, there's always a question for a specific situation you didn't think of. In that moment, the customer needs a real answer, not a fixed list.

The second gap: the customer doesn't want to read a long list

Many customers would rather just ask their question directly than read twenty Q&As looking for their specific case.

A static page doesn't respond to the context of their question

An FAQ gives the same answer to everyone, even if the customer's question has a slightly different detail than the general wording written down.

The fix: combine both

Let the FAQ be your knowledge base, and let something else (a chatbot, for instance) use that same information but reply directly, tailored to each customer's actual question.

That's exactly what OPENCHATBOT does - it takes your business info (the same you'd write in an FAQ) and replies with it as a real conversation, not a fixed list.
